Traffic Sources

I sometimes check my traffic sources in my stats area. Lately there have been two porn sites with two or three hits from them. Can those be blocked somehow or is it something we just have to accept by being out there on the internet? I get emails from addresses with get rich quick schemes as well. Do any of you experience this and have you been able to do anything about it?

  1. Hello Myra, I don't know how to block those sites, however, you can tag the get rich emails as spam. When I set up my blog, I created a separate email account just for the blog. Perhaps create another email account and change your blog preferences to the new account? Good luck.

I can't find the post, but earlier you mentioned that you stretch before and after exercising and it has helped with soreness. I don't know how many times I have read this over the years and just never did it. I have started doing that now and boy what a difference! I guess it just didn't click until I read it from a "real" person. Thanks for posting.

    1. Thanks for the suggestions. Those "sun salutes" that I do are great before and after. There are youtube videos and web sites to help you learn how to do these very excellent stretches. Some people start the day with them just to limber up before starting their days whether exercising or not. Take care and keep up that stretching!!

  2. The thing about the traffic sources is that they aren't 'real' sources. Someone has devised a system where they get the latest new posts from Blogger and then make it look as if someone is linking to you, when they are not. If you go to the page listed your link is nowhere to be found. This is used as a form of spamming, hoping that someone will go to the website to check it out. Annoying.
